Banking Module Overview

Overview

The Banking module records and reconciles all cash deposits to the bank. It allows venues to:

  • Declare daily or weekly banking amounts.

  • Separate banking by category (e.g., Trade, TAB, Keno) or combine into one declaration.

  • Maintain accurate records for end-of-day and weekly reconciliation.

Why It’s Important

  • Provides transparency between venue cash handling and bank lodgments.

  • Ensures declared deposits match actual bagged cash.

  • Reduces errors by standardising the declaration process.

Key Features

  1. Banking Tiles – Depending on venue setup:

  1. Date Ranges – Select banking by:

  • Trading Date (individual day).

  • Date Range (week-to-date or last week).

  1. Banking Declaration – Enter bag numbers, amounts, and categories, and submit with comments.

Best Practices

  • Always check you are declaring against the correct trading date.

  • If declaring weekly banking (Mon–Sun), declare against Sunday’s trade date.

  • Use clear comments for record-keeping (e.g., “Weekly banking Mon–Sun”).

When to Contact you System Admin

  • Banking tiles are missing or not displaying correctly.
