Before You Begin
If your Customer Success Manager has set you up with a custom module that allows you to fluctuate your Floats, please ignore this guide and continue using your existing process.
If your venue uses a Cash Recycler, please also ignore this guide and simply dispense additional funds directly to the module.
Option 1 — Bringing Money in from the Bank / Drawing a Cheque / Using Existing Banking Funds
Step 1: Raise a Sub Movement
1. Navigate to Safe Module → Sub Movement → New Sub.
2. Select Paying to Safe.
3. Enter a Reference Name, e.g. “Melbourne Cup Float Increase”.
4. Enter the amount being added to the safe.
5. Add a comment and click Submit.
6. The amount will now appear under Subs in the live stats of the safe.
Step 2: Create a Safe Movement to the Module
Note: This must be done on Trading Date the float is increased physically in venue
1. In the Safe Module, click Safe Movement.
2. Select Movement Type: Out of Safe.
3. Select Purpose: i.e TAB Increase
4. If applicable, select the specific module you are topping up.
5. Enter the amount, add a comment, and click Submit.
Step 3: Pay Back the Movement
• When reconciling at the end of trade, Wirely will show the increase.
• After submitting the module, Wirely will prompt you to pay back the increase.
• This amount should then be returned to the safe.
Step 4: Settle the Sub Movement
1. Go to Sub Movement → Existing Sub.
2. Select the correct Reference Name.
3. Click Settle.
4. The system will display the correct amount to remove from the safe — add a comment and click Submit.
5. Finally, return the money to the bank.
Option 2 — Using Existing Money in the Safe
Step 1: Create a Safe Movement to the Module
Note: This must be done on the required Trading Date
1. In the Safe Module, click Safe Movement.
2. Select Movement Type: Out of Safe.
3. Select Purpose: i.e TAB.
4. If applicable, select which terminal you’re increasing.
5. Enter the amount, add a comment, and click Submit.
Step 2: Pay Back the Movement
• When reconciling gaming at the end of trade, the increase will appear.
• After submitting the module, Wirely will prompt you to pay back the increase.
• Return the money back to the safe.
