Overview
ABA File Export turns the EFT payouts you already record in Wirely into a single bank-ready .aba file. Upload it once to your banking portal instead of re-keying every payout by hand — ABA is the standard batch payment format accepted by all major Australian banks.
Nothing about the way your team records, edits or exports EFTs today has changed. ABA is an additional export option, not a replacement. Wirely never connects to your bank and never moves money — it produces the file, you upload and authorise it.
What It Means for Your Venue
No more re-keying – a whole period of EFT payouts becomes one file you load straight into your bank, instead of typing each payment into the portal one at a time.
Fewer payment errors – Wirely checks every payout against the bank’s formatting rules before the file is built, so a bad BSB or a malformed account number is caught in Wirely rather than bouncing back from the bank days later.
A record you can stand behind – every export is logged permanently with who ran it, the period it covered and the file itself, ready to download again. Log entries cannot be edited or deleted by anyone.
Correct for every site – each venue has its own banking details and produces its own file, so venue groups are not forced through a single account.
Who It’s For
Any venue that records EFT payouts in Wirely and pays them out of a bank account. If someone at your venue currently re-types those payouts into a banking portal one by one, this replaces that job.
Every ABA file your venue produces is recorded — who ran it, the period it covered, and the original file ready to download again.
Getting Started
ABA File Export is switched on per venue and is off by default. Contact Wirely support to have it enabled for your venue, then assign the two new Cheques/EFTs permissions — Manage ABA File Settings and Export EFTs in ABA Format — to the appropriate roles.
